SOROS: I completely agree. As per my post on Tokyo Joe's:

Everyone is familiar with the BRE-X fiasco. It would seem to me that companies who find significant amounts of gold would make VERY sure of their estimates before going public with it. BRE-X went to $30+ a share (I believe) on pure speculation. Even for speculation, we may all be fortunate to be in this stock for well under a dollar. Most traders, investors I know began their holidays this morning or last night. What will happen when the full impact of this news is absorbed over the long weekend. I am happy with my patient purchase at a quarter around 2PM. :)

Tom

Its a good point, Soros. No one in his right mind wants to be remembered for a second Bre-X. especially a lawyer and an engineer. These guys are claiming possibly the largest gold mine on the planet Earth. I think it is likely they have done some homework.

They have not finished their homework--it will take a long time and a lot of money.
