I think DELL needs to have a market for all consumers. I think it's positive. Of course it won't do that much for the bottom line as and the margins are paper thin. But then again, Price-Costco makes a killing with thin margins. If the consumer decided to purchase a cheap computer for their kid and DELL didn't fit their budget/need than that's a lost sale. They had PC's for around $1200 a year ago.
