I did LASIK. Since I'm over 40, I wanted monovision.
I corrected right eye to perfect(?) vision two days
ago and I'll have my left eye under corrected next wed.
No pain, no fuss. But since I'm chicken, I didn't want to
have both done at the same time. This is royal pain because
there's such big difference btn good and bad eyes now, it's
not easy to read all the messages on this forum or even read
my own postings to check mistakes. However, I still won't do
both eyes at the same time.

Some folks like 20-30 for monovision. I told my friend that I
don't want to wear reading glasses at least for 2-4 yrs and I
have to work on the computer, so he'll check my eyes one more
time before left eye next wed and we'll decide for the power.

Isn't technology great? We can order exact power for our eyes!
You and I might need one more laser for far sighted before we die @
over 100 yrs old. He he he ^_^ This is more than Hallelujah, isn't it?
I couldn't believe that I was driving without eye glasses, even at
night. I always hated to drive at night especially in my community
because most folks like to have high beam not to hurt young deers.
(These deers are so tame that they take naps next to my son's
bedroom.) Now I can see them better on my driveway.

So I'm looking @some LASIK companies to invest like VISX. Any opinion?

ps: If I missed to respond to anybody, please bear with me till
Thursday. TIA!
