I believe that on a stock less than 10 that they only have to show 1/16 th's.This happened to me once right above 10. David

David is correct. The minimum quote increment for stocks with a bid over 10 is 1/16, 1/32 quote increment only applies to stocks below 10. So unless you improve the bid by at least 1/16, it's not supposed to change to match your order. As to a person that told you on another thread that the bid never has to change because of your order, he doesn't know what he's talking about.
