I believe that on a stock less than 10 that they only have to show 1/16 th's.This happened to me once right above 10.

David is correct. The minimum quote increment for stocks with a bid over 10 is 1/16, 1/32 quote increment only applies to stocks below 10. So unless you improve the bid by at least 1/16, it's not supposed to change to match your order.

As to a person that told you on another thread that the bid never has to change because of your order, he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Did you see bids or offers from ISLD during the time you were watching. If Island goes down, your order will not be represented by datek.
