OT - Jim, the Phonecian is a posh resort on the south side of Camelback Mountain. I've driven past it on my way back from hiking Camelback. If you have time and are into that sort of thing, I recommend the hike. It's rocky and rugged, but heavily used by all sorts of folks including families with kids. From the top you get a 360-degree view of the Phoenix area. The trailhead is on the north side of the mountain. Scottsdale is a fascinating (and expensive) shopping mecca. Navajo and Zuni silver/turquoise jewelery come to mind. Greg
