<< but I am just too smart for it>> That sounds just like the exuberant point of view that you attacked bobby beara for.

Since you are obviously a legend in your own mind, please post a specific market projection. I will do the the same, before the opening
Tuesday morning. Changing both our minds until Labor Day. Do not be surprised if I am a bull or a bear. Let's see what happens.

Bob,

Thanks for your post... I am concerned that many of my indicators show weakness at this time... IN SPITE of my projection of a close over 9300 this past week.

One interesting indicator I tried on the NYSE-NAZ combo was the cumulative adaptive MA. What is interesting about it is not level nor direction (both negative) but that when it has signalled a down-trend in the past, the market hasn't moved up UNTIL after a breakout from the downtrend.

Secondly, another indicator, based on the Zwieg Breath Index, is close to a setup before a "trigger" signal. These trigger signals have alway signalled a downtrend... the last one was one-day move down with an immediate buy signal there-after.

This is an extremely interesting market right now... we are still under a buy signal according to some of my indicators but the fact that there is no clear direction from MOST of my indicators makes me very wary.
