Awww..Stockboy's just upset cause he sees Cisco releasing another superior product that will inevitably dominate the market and lay further waste to Bay's bottom line. Just FYI, Stockboy - call it what you like - a Layer 3 switch or a wirespeed router...doesn't really matter, it does the same thing. And from that great article you proudly posted, the 8500 seems to do it pretty well. -C

Re -- Looks like a great article. From the article... Although I ran into some significant bugs* with 10/100 autonegotiation,* This bad smelling company is lying to customers and selling "faulty" products again!!!! Wonder whose fault it will be when they install this garbage 8510 and the network crashes -- Yup they can't make these things idiot proof of course. Re -- Please refer to the bylaws of SI. I strongly suggest you read the bylaws of SI, yourself before whining "mooomy some one is telling the truth about this bad smelling company", and calling others " insane".
