>Now the government wants up to 50% of what you've
created and wants to give it to the people who play or have so little ambition that they
want to survive off the public dole because after all, isn't it their "entitlement"? Isn't it
owed them because they simply exist? Don't they have a right to all your creativity, your
labors, your risk if it pays off? (Of course, they don't want to share your risk -- only the
payoff if you succeed.)<

This assumes that most of the money goes to people who are on the dole because they don't want to work. Let's see- old people take a lions share of the medical and medicaid dollars- correct? Now I personally think money is better spent on the young, because chances are if you spend it on them you will get some sort of return. Old people seem useless to me, especially old people who haven't bothered to plan for their "golden year." But do I want mobs of starving old people roaming the streets? Um...no. What would you do with irresponsible old people who want to take out in social security FAR more than they ever put in??? Shall we kick them off the public dole?

As for your business person- let's see, the roads he/she uses to get her goods to/from wherever- built with public money (do you think mr. small business person could build their own roads?). If this little paragon of entrepreneurism should be robbed, the police will come to their aid (at local government expense!- perhaps they should hire their own police force?) I think if they hire workers they will probably want ones that can read and write, who will have educated these individuals? Hmmmmm.... According to many executives in our area (and I am sure at least some must be paragons of free enterprise) our country needs to target the young with more resources so that they will be ready to enter businesses as worker bees. There are some things the government is uniquely qualified to do. And most people in our society agree, that is why you are such a screeching voice in the wilderness. I don't know if anyone other than Skipper agrees with you in your extreme perspective. I don't even know if Skipper agrees with all your clap trap.

You sir, have no children and no stake in the future beyond your fatuous imagination of yourself and your "philosophy". You have not tempered any of your views to mesh with reality as it is or as it will be. Alex has pointed this out, so have others. You are that most irrational of creatures- a true believer. You have shown time and again that there is not an ounce of moderation in you. You fixate on one small point and derive your whole argument from that point- as if life were that simple. You are every bit as moronic as the Godders, you are just humming a different tune (Rand of ages, cleft for me, let me die with my moneyeeeee...)
