Regarding Par's resignation, his ego can be one of the reason but not necessary the only reason. If we suppose he is not the engineer or the marketer who wants to make the Net+Arm, Gigamux or IQX, who knows his real intention of buying this kind of technology? But one thing I can be sure, after the company lost so much money, Par is more wealthier than before. One source of his wealth can be all these tricky transactions. If he steps down and someone (not a puppet) might discover a dirty story over there. So even he might be the most profitable from his resignation, he will not want to do that.

For one example, the loan from Boston is $8 million, but the company only gets $7.5 million. Assuming Volpe gets the paid from the new shares, where is this $500,000 gone?
