Bill,

I posted a similar question on E-Towns "It's All DVD" message board and got the following reply:

Dear E/Towners--

The Divx people told us they have enough Zenith players for the two test markets scheduled to begin next week. Our ace
correspondent, Ron, is in SF and will report from the scene.

Once the test marketing ends, a number of manufacturers will offer Divx players including RCA and Panasonic. They're due in
August/September.

Around Labor Day we'll see if average consumers care one bit about Divx. We already *know* how the early adopters feel! ;-)
