Hi jimleon;
About those commissions. For a 100 share trade,
my commission is $3. Consequently, I can make a
slim profit on a teenie.

But you do realize that as soon as a TA gets in 25
trades with a net profit, all he has to do is leave
the position alone (and long) for the rest of the
year?

Anyway, best of luck. DELL is one of the stocks
that I can almost never read the intraday charts
of. I think this is due to the high level of institutional
trading. I do better with stocks with large numbers of
retail trade. (Retail traders are more emotional, like
to end up flat at the end of the day, use TA more, etc.)

I would like to learn how to read DELL, so I am going
to begin paper-trading it, charting it, watching it, etc.,
until I either give up or start getting a feel for it. I'd love
the challenge. The only problem is that it is kind of
distracting to leave on your screen when you are in
some other trade. Prints are constantly going off on
it.

As regards the FA of DELL, I noticed that the stock
price is up about 4 or 5x from last year. Are sales and
earnings per share also up by comparable amounts?

Jim, you neglected to mention one other factor hamstringing the T/Aer investors buy at the ask and sell at the bid.
