Do you really believe it is the press, Melinda, that causes all these problems? I think personally maybe the press sensationalizes some of them to a degree, but they are not writing fiction, you know?

What is your serious opinion?

Thank you. I agree that an irresponsible Press is part of the problem. At the same time, the Press must all be totally free and uncensored. Editors and broadcast/cable news editors also shoulder part of the blame for being irresponsible. So are other forms of media to blame, however, such as the plethora of movies that appeal to the lowest common denominators of society -- and then glorify it!
