Christine: 1. I will concede that the Irish diet has become "Americanized" vis-a-vis their rather newfound predilection for processed and package foods. But their core food industry still has better meats, vegetables and fruits than that available at the general marketplaces of America, and I contend much more healthy. I have been in Ireland on several occasions and the whole foods there taste much better than they do in America. More like they used to taste here when I was a kid. 2. That so much blood has been spilled over which form of mysticism is correct and which errant political philosophy is correct is a tragedy. I hope they finally get their act together with these new initiatives. 3. You may feel too much and think (rationally) too little -- but you are a good and decent person whose inner beauty adds a special and unique dimension to Silicon Investor. They should pay you to maintain this thread! I, like John, am in cyberlove with you, I admit it freely! You shall always remain the highest of High Priestesses in The Church of the Three Garters no matter how heated our discussions become. (Besides, I always leave knowing I am mostly right!!!!)
