That's exactly the point Bob. RDRT's crushing debt load is problematic, to put it lightly. Luckily, most of RDRT's obligations are long-term, in the form of convertibles, so there shouldn't be any near-term debt crisis. Call up your broker and get a quote on the converts. I'm guessing they must yield greater than 10% by now...

I'm actually quite surprised that Dennis claims to be a CFO but has not dwelt overly much on this issue. Aren't bean counter by nature prissy and risk-averse? <g>

p.s. I'm also interested in your comment about semi makers. Are they, in your experience, less leveraged? My only experience anywhere in this area is with Micron, but they defy any attempt at fundamental analysis or rational valuation. Thanks in advance.
