Golf!

RE: With the cacaphony of bad tech news LSI has had to face, a retest of support at 21 would not be all that surprising

No it wouldn't - heck had a 21 1/4 today! Might be n/t up and then down again. Watching INTC. About LSI I guess it all depends on who wants to step up to the plate and when. Summer is not generally a good time for semis - add to this all the 1998 reasons to run and hide and who knows how low we could go. Maybe 21 is the lowest. But it would not surprise me to see 20? teens if people think semis will take a year or more to recover from Asia et al? but then 40? then 30? then 50? then 80? ...

LSI's business is still good. STM likewise expects to beat semiconductor growth rate this year. So some corroboration. Of course no hope in hell that LSI is going up unless we get some good revenue growth, something, some sign ... Too many weeks to go before July earnings release, too many miles to go before I sleep...

Definitely seeing some serious left for dead blood-letting in semiequip land and definitely seeing similar signs of blood-letting in semi-land. Will take awhile. Need to see if everyone gives up on INTC. All those old lady clubs holding onto INTC for dear life will help the INTC cause.

Actually I still consider LSI expensive relative to some of the other slaughtering that has taken place. This is only a relative thing and means nothing. ADI is still expensive, so is ALTR etc etc. At some point these institutional favorites have to become cheap - that's our cue. No harm averaging in now.

Sorry about the little one.
