Those systems were bankrupt from the day they were envisioned -- they are morally and philosophically bankrupt. Their original goals were and are to seek power for a few at the expense of liberty for the many.

How can you think a political system is good if it seeks to punish the productive and reward the unproductive? Please tell me how you think that is good, or even wise?
