Skipper, I am definitely a capitalist, so I am interested in making money in the stock market. However, I try to invest only in companies that are not harming the environment, damaging the public health, etc. Doesn't almost everyone try to choose stocks in companies that are not repugnant to their own personal value systems? Do you?

It strikes me that pre-fab housing is very much needed in China, which has a severe housing crisis. It would please me greatly to know that a company I held stock in brought happiness and comfort to families. I also believe well-designed pre-fab housing might save natural resources and have some environmental benefits.

There is nothing wrong in my value system with getting filthy rich if it is accomplished without compromising ethics or hurting anyone, incidentally. Does this seem inconsistent with something I said earlier?
