I am not trying to be picky, but all puts are sold naked. The idea is that when you sell puts, you better be prepared to buy the shares or cover.

Am I missing something?

I can understand you going to bat for Intel; however, I am the other side of the coin and I am short Intel. To me, Intel puts available at the money are as good as money. They provide a very reasonable leverage with the current market feeling surrounding the entire semi sector. If you line all of the semi's up and take a look at them they are close to the bottom of the barrel. Intel still has room to drop and God willing and the creek don't rise - drop they will.
