Yousef,

How much software was available at the Intel MMX launch that
actually used the MMX capability?

AMD surely wouldn't advertise/HYPE
the K6-3DNOW knowing that 99.99% of all x86 software won't run any faster
than on a K6 ... yet AMD will charge more for the K6-3DNOW. Sounds like
maybe the DOJ should look into "truth in advertising" on AMD

Yousef,

You are a soar grape! Should this (MMX2) be Intel's IP, you would be doing the song and dance. Remember Intel's MMX(1), it charges more than the Pentium Classic. How many software were out then?

AMD hasn't been do much advertisings. Should DOJ be looking, it will be looking at Intel since it did nearly all of the MMX(1) hypes.
