ABout the pc boom ahead:

I remember talking to Dr. Lombardi, the president of University of Florida, about five years ago. He was telling me about this whole new technology that was on the verge of exploding. Back then he called it cyberspace. I guess we call it the internet now. It's hard to imagine that while the internet has been around for 25 years...it has only begun to explode in the past few years. When I first logged onto the internet Netscape didn't even exist and I used Mosaic. The point is, the technology boom is still in front of us; thus companies like Compaq that sells pc's, networks, servers, and services are well positioned.

As for Mike Holland, don't know much about him, but he seemed to be a very intelligent person when I met him about eight years ago.
