David,they actually ran into a lot of problems,the wind was so stong at times,+125mph that it was causing stress fractures in many of the bolts holding the rotors on. I remember they had to unbolt and replace hundreds( not easy 100ft+ in the air<g>)...DD

If you're looking into alternate energy, CalEnergy (CE) is an interesting play. They're pretty big (I think well over $1 billion revenue) and are a utility that relies on alternative energy sources...I think it's mostly geothermal. Stock plummets when oil prices are down and vice versa. Currently in upper middle of a large trading range between $23 and low 30s but has historically been much higher.
