That is correct ... and ... I believe that Intel is well behind IBM (IBM has
10+ years working with Copper) and probably still a little behind AMD. Now
the good news is that this technology won't be needed for Intel's next
generation process (.18um) and by the time it is needed, Intel will be
ready in manufacturing for Copper. I am not particularly worried about
not having Copper available right now. It is mainly being HYPE'd by
IBM and others to gain customers. Actually, we DO NOT ant Intel putting this
technology into production before Copper is at high yield and
"manufacturable" ... AMD's .35um process is a good example of "Not Doing
It Right" when it comes to being "manufacturable"!!
