Lamar... Good subject! Let's see how honest folks will be. For me, my best one day deal was a little over $1700. That was a short in the Canadian Dollar. No, wait! I did over $3500 one day in OEX calls. Long time ago! Ken

The most was $12,000 about six months ago. Came pretty close a couple times this past month to breaking that, maybe this week. :-)

The most money I made and kept in one day was a day trade on GMGC. It was at 6 two years ago and called and news looked good so I put a little univested $2,500 in and for some reason also called in a sell at 8 3/4. Even with the killer commissions calling in Schwab in those days, I cleared $850 by noon. Now, that was bad. That took me out of being happy with $850 in several months to wanting $850 every morning. What I did for the next 10 trades has been wild and greedy, and am almost at back at go, where I started. I was doubling once a year, now I'm losing 50% for 18 months on chicken caca. So, it was good and it was bad. Oh, but I'm SO much smarter now, and can actually do a little DD on my own. Not much, but Schwab now has a private software connection which is what the pros use. So, am going to try to get a little smarter, if possible.

I made $13,750 in one day on July 16, 1997 in Lifeway Foods, (LWAY). I still own all of those shares. It is a great company with the biggest potential yet to come. A market leader in a little known niche industry. Kefir. Mark
