C-man: I own 200% more shares than Jobs-

and I regard your posts highly. Not only do you know what you are talking about, you have strong feelings, and you express your ideas very well.

Write as often as you like, I am certain many on the thead feel as I do about this- your ideas are important to me.

I am really sorry you have been dicked over by Apple. The writing was on the wall when the Apple Store opened.

Taking this out of the hides of the smaller resellers shows a lack of talent at the upper management level, but I must admit I don't see any way around it, myself. But then, I'm not a billionaire genius, either.

The problems with Sales management have apparently been going on for years, according to Amellio's book. This is a drastic way to reign in Sale's behavior- by slashing their outlets. And the retailers- ardent Mac supporters- are the ones who suffer. Badness.

As an investor, I see some short-term good from your bad experience. In the long term, I am not so sure. I don't look on most technology stocks as buy-and-hold grade, anyhow. Reassesment is essential as the world changes so rapidly in techs.

As for Win98- nothing but a bug fix for win95. Biggest non event. If DOJ wasn't finally moving, no one would pay extra for it at all.

Best wishes- keep posting!

Richard
