Trey; DSL Lite doesn't seem to be a high priority for Westell. I remember MZ mentioning in the previous CC, (in late Jan), that by the time G.Lite modems become available, they (Westell) will have already deployed full rate DSL. Dave [company cautions CopperGold customers about its use...] By Loring Wirbel "...The CopperGold DSL offerings are expected by year's end. ...At the same time, Motorola is stressing that many carriers and telecom OEMs may want to consider full-rate ADSL as the primary service offering for xDSL, since G.lite may be a tougher system to deploy than the Universal ADSL Working Group (UAWG) suggests. ...G.lite will require both reduced power (to eliminate audible noise in the POTS line) and more-complex signal processing (to overcome the noise problems a splitter would otherwise address).
