Dog,

Looking at the PC profits coming out of IBM, CPQ and HWP, I would have to conclude that they are kicking each others butts.

I am not arguing that DELL should go into the low end consumer market. I am saying that if they wanted to do this they could but they would have to structure this type of business differently than their other businesses. Targeting first time users is hard to do over the internet. They would have to go after second time users.
