marcie--

ok, then we disagree, and i guess i disagree with the person you met on the way to bali<G>. which reminds me...have you seen the cathay pacific internet all asia pass? looked liked a godo deal to me, though would have to have an upgrade to at least business class on the lax departure and return.

when i look at the company, i see a lot of positives, and a few negatives. what stands out most to me is how cheap it is. at these prices, its like getting a cadillac for the price of a hyundai.

just MHO. i feel about VLSI like i felt about AMD during summer, 1996 when it was in the teens.

good luck to all,
trey

Check out the 100 week chart.

Except for a time at the beginning, VLSI has mostly tracked the NASDAQ. You can expect something similar from a random blue chip, so you're merely giving your broker commissions. The company bought at $21.94 last Nov., so this might be a good time to get it at a discount.

$15 11/16 and No sign of a Bottom

Let it be said--they love to sell VLSI--mostly 1k trades--indicates momentum guys now using momentum to the downside--reminds me of 1990-1991--this stock got very very ugly. Went much lower than anyone ever expected--settled in around book value--then a little lower-- at that time. S&P Futures now breaking down--3:02pm
