Hell, I'll downright lie about your position if it keeps you posting more. <<gggg>> The 70,000 figure for a CompUSA iMac initial order was a semi-reliable source, as I recall. One takes it with a grain of salt, but realizes it could well be true. Btw, I remember your post on the GVIL thread. What a mess over there.

Bill, at some point in the last six months (as I remember it) Quark did release a major piece of software for the Mac first, and Windows later. Can't remember which one it was.

Herb, good point on the iMac differentiation helping to sell units.

Soup, I think the iMac modem is a non-issue since I think it will be "fixed" by August, but to me 56k is so superior to 33k and I have no access to faster technologies. The slow rollout of cable modems, DSL, etc. is maddening.
