Freddy,
I am not big into arguing as you know, and I also don't (I'm sorry, Holly!!!!) spend a lot of time researching my viewpoints, figuring we're all just kinda throwing out things we might have read and remembered or thought at one time or are thinking at hte moment and maybe for only a moment.
But I KNOW that abortion has been with us since ancient days, and it's found in all cultures--from the primitive to the most civilized. Christians didn't consider it murder early on either, nor did English common law. The Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Chinese---all have abortion in ther histories. The Catholoc Church didn't really come down on it until late in the game. (DOn't remember when--do I need to look it up?)
The ones who have been opposed consistently are the Hindus and Buddhists because of their reincarnation beliefs.

So watch the Christian superiority aspect. It took them quite a while to get there. And gee when they finally decided--there were some others already there before them.
