Charles, maybe it's nothing to worry about. Japanese banks don't seem worried. Moody's says its survey of 49 Japanese banks turned up a total budget for Y2K of $249 million. Contrast that with Bank of America which is spending $380 million by itself.

Who do you think understands the problem better?

BTW, if BofA is spending this much by itself, who's getting the revenue? For the banking industry alone it should be a few billion. They can't be giving all the work to Anderson Consulting. Just wondering.
