Bill no I don't. But this discovery could be more then troublesome. It could be devastating for Ballard as their claim to fame is PEM Proton Exchange Membrane. Is it possible that Nagoya has a paradigm shift in exchange membranes with its new "glass" .

Bill,
This could be bad. A stock like Ballard, which many feel is drastically overvalued, may respond to bad news (or potentially bad news) with a plummeting fall. There are some questions I have regarding this news. First, what's the source? Second, is there any proprietary affiliation involved in this news? I'm a great believer in Ballard and the future of fuel cell technology. I will admit, though I'll feel a bit uneasy about my position until this becomes more clear. Any more info anyone?
I enjoy the thread,
Mike

Why wouldn't Ballard just license use of the new polymer, just like they would use of any other component they did not hold the patent too?

I am sure they could use some of their MILLIONS to come to an agreement.
