I was talking to my lawyer all day long. We are considering a legal action against you. How dare you publicly call me a "liar"! It's an outright slander. You 'd better sell your DELL shares and raise money to prepare your defense. There's a wonderful book that I recommend you read. It is called "People of the Lie". It's about borderline psychotic personalities--chronic sociopaths always trying to impress by appearing to be in control and demonstrating a level of authority, ability, and expertise that is almost superhuman. All of this is designed to mask the near psychosis, deep seated inferiority, and turmoil that boils near the surface. You fit that profile. There's an old expression that applies to you. It goes, "When you strip the lies from some men, you strip the man from himself." With you, it needs to be altered slightly to, "When you strip the lies from the borderline he becomes vaporware." As far as slander is concerned, there are two issues in which your fantasy lawyer might have some concerns. First, the truth is a near absolute defense, and you are clearly a liar. Second, where is the damage since you are using a non de plume. Or are you such a wacko so badly in need of a medication adjustment that you consider yourself the famous "gc". I mean there are two other "gc"s who post on the SI boards. One is also "gc" (small caps). Did you and your esteemed counsel consider litigating against him (or her) because that person usurped your moniker. Then you have your "GC". How dare that "GC" use large caps in his or her name, when the superior "gc" uses only small caps. What troubles me is the subtle hits you send to female members. It's weirdos like you that give the Internet a bad name, although at least this cuts into your side job of Internet pedophile, which must be a tremendous burden given the additional time demands of your PhD and your money managing positions--especially considering that you are retired. Aside from any moribund interest in your Brain Chemistry, I can only advise you that getting things together and becoming the man that your missing fantasy father figure never became for you starts with small steps aimed at impulse control. Stop posting the lies, and you will find yourself headed into a better direction. As for myself, I am not going to respond directly to your posts anymore. I am beginning to feel like the high school bully picking on the class goon who never had a real man in his life. I do not wish to see myself further cluttering up this really fine board, nor do I wish to have my privileges (emphasis on privilege) curtailed, nor do I wish to feel responsible should your frustration peak and you "decide" to act out. SI is not a phone sex board. Stop the lies. I have a good reputation with the webmistress in terms of reporting improper conduct, and if your conduct doesen't cease you will be referred. The only further contact I will have with you is to honor my offer of $1,000 if you can prove that you sold all of your DELL shares at 95 last week after boasting that you would never sell Dell as long as Michael Dell (your latest fantasy father) was the head of Dell.
