Paul I never said I hated the misinformed people who believe in the bible. My hatred is for how fear & brainwashing have made some very good people trying to do right, have the exact opposite results. There is no way you can offer to prove your myth to be true. There is no way to prove my experiences would be true to anyone else. Truth is one of those relative things in the eye of the beholder. Experience and probability are natures way to teach us how to live. The advent of the the Roman church by force, and the unsupportable man you advocate hasn't shown me anything but evil in my lifetime. Your religion is an offshoot of this state established religion. You have your concept of good and evil, I have my concept and we each have to receive the results of our creation, whether in thought or deed. You live your life and create your tomorrows by todays action. If everyone had their desires satisfied and their prayers answered I see nothing but chaos and bewilderment. The laws of nature as well as God , depending on our view, are just that. The law. Just as you do not have complete knowledge of all laws of our country, you nor any other human learns what all these laws are. I am spending a lifetime making error after error in understanding laws because ignorance. That makes grateful every time I experience the results for it means I will not try that again. I cannot conceive with any imagination how a man can live with any assuredness of results with anything other than experience. Blind faith such as yours without results is hardly something I want to guide my life. I bought this twisted version of truth as a child. My lifes experience says it damaged me from living in the manner which I was told was the "Only way." Well your carrot dangled after death doesn't have appeal to my senses. I lived 45 years following your faith and beliefs. The results made no sense to me. You have no concept of what the myth of Christ was to teach mankind and its origin. You cannot stand scientific data as better than your religion. We all have the right to choose Paul but we also by scientific law, as far as we have discovered, receive a reaction from actions we create. You cannot have it both ways. You use science every day of your life and have faith in the knowledge of it. That does not mean you hit oil every time you seek it and say dig here. Without scienctific knowledge, you would not have the results you receive. Try a dowser stick everyone believed in and quit using the science. Just pray you call the new oil find correctly and ask somebody to dig. Check the results of both ways and tell me God answers your prayers better than science. Picture yourself as being judge of prayers. A good loving person in California asks God for rain needed for his crops. Another good kind person who is receiving more rain than is good for his interests asks God to stop this water damage because he desires it for just as good a reason. What reason does either of these persons have to ask others to suffer and sacrifice their desires, just to fulfill their own. Death is a natural law of change. Because limited mind stops on this plane of existence does not prove that is anything but a natural order of creation. Our life consists of choices. Faith does make choices by necessity; results are an unknown until proven. Knowledge of science and nature have proven more reliable. The dark ages are ending due due to informed knowledge. My life has shown me that to have a better world in which to live it has to improve for all. The change has to be done with effort. It has to be better for all. Your bible says to give away your God of material things and build up your spiritual riches for an afterlife life with your Lord. You give lip service only as far as I am concerned. As long as you place your trust in the science of charting to take away fairness in investing, and prosper at someones expense rather than a trust God will provide as you put forth effort, it proves to me that you are trying to take advantage of science to take from another. My experience with the market has taught me a lesson on faith. I had faith in peoples honesty and trusted the laws to give me assurance of truthful 10Q & 10K reports. I trusted analysts had a superior knowlege of business practise to establish probabilities. I had faith that our large brokerage houses and their agents could be trusted. There are millions of people who live in poverty because they trusted the advice of others because of faith and invested their life savings in that trust. Most of all I trusted I could rely on my better than average research of available sources of information as a means of supporting my family since my disability won't permit me to get a job. I have been able to provide all that we need and live by my efforts without asking for charity. All these faiths have proved what I call my truth. It does not mean it agrees wthothers understanding. When a man brags about his prowess in the market trades is proof of his knowlege he merely shows ignorance in a boastful way. It sure wasn't faith or prayer that rewarded him. It had to be knowledge or luck of probability. I am a good person in my opinion and resent beng told otherwise. I make mistakes ever day thru ignorance and inconsideration of others. I don't ask Jesus to change me. I just use my efforts to do the best I can to be true to my limited knowledge and the ability to reason as I am capable. If that is evil then so be it. Shooting doctors in abortion clinics because they are sinning, burning people alive for their beliefs as was done to promulgate your faith, threats of burning them after death is made only because we now live in a society that knows better, and retaliates when actual burning or murder takes place. Cause its in the bible does not excuse abusive actions.
