Scumbria - Re: "Not true. There is evidence that Cyrix has done quite well on integrated CPU sales."

What evidence?

Cyrix has posted losses in 6 out of their last 8 quarterly reports when they were publicly traded and the 2 profitable quarters were barely profitable.

WHY DO YOU THINK CYRIX SOLD OUT TO NSM?

Hint - they were about to go belly-up!

As for Cyrix under NSM, Halla has admitted the Cyrix Division HAS LOST MONEY IN ALL REPORTING PERIODS!

Is that your good news for the integrated chip?

Re: "He knows that he can kick Intel's rear by putting the whole motherboard on one die."

This guy is losing money - and he is going to kick Intel's butt? You need a date with reality!

NSM is losing money in what was one of their most profitable lines - LAN chips and now they are saddled with Cyrix's deadweight OVERHEAD.

Halla may not be around long enough to have his own butt kicked!
