I took my two boys fishing today. On previous fishing trips we simply had no luck all we would do was sit their and wait with no results. So today I made a decision to go to Catfish Corner, being that this was a breeding farm I thought for once I would really enjoy seeing my boys catch something for a change. I thought this was a good move on my part but boy I was in for a big surprise. It only cost a buck for each child and 2 bucks for adults to fish so what the heck maybe we will catch something. Well as soon as the youngest threw in his line bang their went the floater screaming is not the word it was so loud I almost fell off my chair. After much turmoil I helped him pull in a 2 pound catfish. Than I found out that if you catch one you have to keep it and pay 2.35 per lb and I thought no big deal BOY was I wrong for within 5 Minutes my line got yanked and I ended pulling up a 3 pound catfish. So I did some calculating and realized what this may end up costing me, and believe me they watched you like a hawk so it wasn't very easy to conveniently let one get away. As I was putting my catch in a bucket their went another scream and ended up helping the younger one bring in another one at about 1 1/2 pounds. I mentioned to the boys we need to think of leaving BOY was that a mistake their was no way they were leaving and how could I blame them they were having the time of their lives. So I decided to play smart when the older boy screamed and was pulling on his rod I told him he needed to learn how to pull the fish in on his own. So I watched while he and the younger one was screaming and running backwards instead of reeling in the line to bring this one in. You talk about Americas most funniest Video heck if I had a camera I would lay odds of winning people their were rolling in laughter to watch these two kids trying to bring in this fish, yes they brought it in so I unhooked it and added to my fish expense (Another 1 1/2 pound catfish). I then went to get some soft drinks and the younger one started screaming so I decided to watch from a distance. After seeing the rod was bending to extremes I thought to myself no way are they going to pull this one out. Again the two were screaming as the older one was pulling the line with his hands. When I saw what they caught I decided this was getting ridiculous since it looked like a 6 Pound catfish it was huge. Well to make a long story short they had caught 15 catfish before I could convince them to leave and the bill was 93 bucks! among the 1 1/2 pound fish their were 3 to 5 1/2 pound catfish all brought in by a 8 and 10 year old. All I heard on the way back home was when are we going again, after slapping the fillets on the kitchen table I looked at both boys and said when you finish eating your catch only then will I consider another adventure they both looked at the fish and expressed with a gesture of disgust FISH they said NO WAY.

Ray ... I just looked up the definition.

2 a : a trusted counselor or guide b : TUTOR, COACH

I am not educated or a trained counselor or guide since I have nothing to support my logic, business sense or common sense. I do try however try to teach people to use their common sense and supply certain traps I have got caught in to protect themselves. Most of all to do their DD and KNOW why they are buying a stock.

I am more like rude I guess ...

rude 1 a : being in a rough or unfinished state : CRUDE b : NATURAL, RAW c : PRIMITIVE, UNDEVELOPED d : SIMPLE, ELEMENTAL 2 : lacking refinement or delicacy: a : IGNORANT, UNLEARNED b : INELEGANT, UNCOUTH c : offensive in manner or action : DISCOURTEOUS d : UNCIVILIZED, SAVAGE e : COARSE, VULGAR 3 : marked by or suggestive of lack of training or skill : INEXPERIENCED 4 : ROBUST, STURDY
5 : occurring abruptly and disconcertingly

But I am intolerant of sheep and con artists being polite. People lose money and then want to blame the nice folks that suckered them. I am in person as I am in real life,. BLUNT, Arrogant, I shoot from the hip. I do not think its rude just a bit more intolerant of people that refuse to use common sense and be responsible for their actions. Sometimes jerk them with a flame teaches them more than leading them to slaughter

GB

synonym RUDE, ROUGH, CRUDE, RAW mean lacking in social refinement. RUDE implies ignorance of or indifference to good form; it may suggest intentional discourtesy <rude behavior>. ROUGH is likely to stress lack of polish and gentleness <rough manners>. CRUDE may apply to thought or behavior limited to the gross, the obvious, or the primitive and ignorant of civilized amenities <a crude joke>. RAW suggests being untested, inexperienced, or unfinished <turning raw youths into polished performers>.

PS fishing is something I have never had the time to do. I have worked my entire adult life and some how being successful ... 7/24.

Ray, thanks for posting the link that "Stocks to Watch" has on Arcon Energy. This explains my friends comment about Arcon being in a conference with an Internet source, the other day when he called them.

Arcon will soon have their very own web site and address as I understand it?

Good luck fishing!

Dusty :o)
