With respect to your "global economic comments", I can only say that I find your perspective somewhat negative if not downright depressing. I reckon that is what makes markets. Do many of your students commit suicide? teevee The outlook is very negative - only inside the US and some few other places does the economic situation look good. I read the Asian edition of Business Week for example - the contrast from different parts of the World in it are stunning. Take a look at Ed Yardeni's website for example. I'm not negative about everything! For example on global warming my research shows it seems to be real but the effects are probably on the low side of the consensus. David
