The electoral college is THE way we elect Presidents, not popular vote. >> The majority voted against reagan and bush as well. Wrong. Reagan won absolute majorities of those voting twice, Bush once. Clinton has never achieved a majority despite the unprecedentedly negative and illegal campaign he ran in 1996. It has been observed by political scientists and pollsters that Democrat voters are the most uninformed of any. Thanks for more than proving that rule.
