MIKE SHORTS-WARNING-DONT GET BURNED

Earnings after the bell on Wed. Last 2 earnings shorts have been burned
by 20% to 30% rises after earnings. Sales reportedly even stronger than
expected ( i guess due to this insane economy ). This is a message from
a fellow you know what that sold short at 36 in mid April. Good luck shorts.
Even a good play for longs or options for about 2 weeks after earnings.
Stock has a 10.27 day to cover ratio as of April. Will short again soon.

Mike

<<Anyone thought about shorting BRKA and BRKB in a general downturn? If BRKB breaks current support at 2370, there is nothing to hold it up until the low 2200's. I don't see Buffett trading heavily to get out of the way of a market correction.>>

Dale, you need to read Forbes June-01 mag, page 48, where Buffet comments on how the current estimate of BH having to pay one 1B of taxes is probably low. The implication is that Buffet must be selling a lot on long term winners to incure that sum of fed tax (at 38% corp taxes). Buffet selling is surely a sign of a market sell-off.
