Bigots abound in all societal strata. The internet encourages bigots to express their views because they can remain anonymous and therefore exhibit the cowardice characteristic of bigots....only acting as a part of a dominant majority (mob) or acting under cover. Enlightened individuals do not try to enter into discussion with bigots. Rather, they teach their children the nature of bigotry, in all its forms, including the forms most likely to infect THEM, as members of whatever race/religion/ethnicity/sexual preference. We are all capable of unspeakable acts, given the right set of circumstances....unless we are taught otherwise at an early age. It is Sunday, so I thought I'd throw out a sermon. David
