Sergio,I think we are onto something and I am moving Courtaulds PLC(COU)
to the TOP of my priority list for study.I can find nothing as of yet
that indicates that TENCEL(TM)generic name lyocell is other than exclusive to COU--I KNOW the product and IT IS REVOLUTIONARY--my wife and her friends LOVE IT,and are excited about it.My wife has been been
ordering it from a J.Jill catalog--but it is already showing up in
around here in New Age fashion stores such as Coyote Moon.
I suggest one go through their Java-enabled web-site--it's pretty
informative.Sergio here's one for you to do a fundamentals study on i think--Sandra check this for FISP(sp.?) factor,if you have a moment.
Lyocell developed first in 1991,and they say it is first major breakthrough in fabric in 31 years(that being Spandex in 1960)

Lyocell is a cellulosic fiber
created by an organic solvent
spinning process. Organic
solvent is a mixture of
organic chemicals and water.
Solvent spinning means
dissolving and spinning
without the formation of a
derivative. Lyocell is the
generic name for TENCELª
which is the trademark of
Courtaulds Fibres Ltd.

Spandex

Spandex is a synthetic fiber
with great elasticity. It is
durable and has excellent
recovery. Spandex is soft
and supple.
