Here's the long awaited report. Any commentary would be much appreciated.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., May 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael B. Mehrtens Ph.D., President of INTERGOLD CORPORATION (OTC Bulletin Board: IGCO) (the "Corporation"), on behalf of its subsidiary, International Gold Corporation, is pleased to announce that Bateman Engineering Inc. has supervised due diligence test work on mineral samples taken by Bateman Engineering Inc. and remaining within their exclusive custody. The samples were taken from two core holes at the Corporation's Blackhawk Prospect in Idaho.

In February/March, 1998, 43 samples representative of 710 feet of drill core were tested by an aqua-regia leach-direct atomic absorption (AA). These measurements indicated an average gold value of 0.14 ounces per ton. The AA test results have since been questioned despite the fact that the same analytical procedure is used at gold production facilities as normal industry practice.

Consequently, Intergold Corporation had to devise and test a metallurgical recovery procedure to produce physical gold at short notice. This procedure involves the recovery of gold from cyanide leach solutions after electrolysis, by chiddy precipitation with zinc. Preliminary recovery of actual gold, under the supervision of Bateman Engineering Inc., using the recovery technique described above was fire assayed and gave the following results.

Sample ID Footage (in feet) Gold Recovered (oz/ton) Re-Run
(oz/ton)
Hole #8 16.5' - 32.8' .003 .024
Hole #8 114.6' - 131.2' .023 .031
Hole #8 328.0' - 344.4' .034
Hole #9 40.8' - 57.2' .035
Hole #9 139.2' - 155.6' .030
These initial gold recovery results indicate about 25% of the gold content as determined by atomic absorption on aqua-regia leachates as reported earlier was achieved with this preliminary technique. Work is continuing and is intended to improve gold recovery to the 60% levels attained by the Corporation independent of Bateman Engineering Inc.

Aqua-regia/atomic absorption assay check indicated the recovered precious metal to be 99% pure gold.
