You are right. Name changes won't change how you feel
about this company IF you have losses (paper or real)
with this company.

But, for me who has never put any money into this
company, I see the name change as a clear signal
that the company is now a VPN company and not
a token ring company.

The proof is in the pudding. Watch the stock jump
on June 10th when it announces the name change.

OpenRoute is a fine name.... but the company I invested in is (was) named Proteon and they do not care about shareholder value. How about OptionRoute? TradeRoute? PumpRoute? DumpRoute? UnNamedBrokerRoute? Thanks PTON (best router in the business...can I trust you?)
