ANOTHER TIRADE WHICH WOULD PUT ANYONE TO SLEEP:
From the BNGO thread, another lecture to "set the record straight". Notice the energy and number of quoted posts - this was a grand effort.
JD: Your last post, as well as all the others from you, gnawed at me all weekend. You appear to have taken great offense to my Private Message suggesting those formerly interested in BNGO take a second look at the company. Then you publicly post a message that such a suggestion should be viewed as sufficient evidence of a "pump & dump" scheme in action. Despite your statement, "This will be my last post to this thread" (see post #8597), and my repeated offers to engage you in civil debate and cease the personal attacks, you have embarked on a personal crusade to discredit me and trash American Bingo.
Until now, I have not felt compelled to defend my integrity against your attacks because I know that those who have closely followed this thread over the past several months understand that I have been, from time to time, one of AB&G's biggest critics. Just in case you are interested in doing your homework on me (which you should have done before you started hurling accusations), I suggest you look at the following posts: #6720, #6854, #8384, and #8491. These are just a few of the MANY posts from me critical of AB&G for one thing or another.
You have repeatedly insulted me by accusing me of spreading "garbage", being a paid "PR Shill", and twice suggesting that, because you think I may actually be Rodney Babcock operating under an assumed name, I am lying about, of all things, my own name! And with all that, you have the nerve to ask, "Please don't flame me or respond if you disagree." (see post #8597). Prior to now, I have not "flamed" you. In fact, I have supported your right to dissent and welcomed your opinions (if you provide facts to support them). I was willing to engage you in debate about the merits and problems inherent in AB&G's current situation based on the best available information we can get, but you don't seem to want to do that.
But you can't have it both ways, JD. You can't expect me to sit here and let you trash me while at the same time honoring your request not to respond if I disagree. The last straw for me was your statement:
"Your posts remind me very much of Rodney's. For every critical comment, personal insult, bearish sentiment, Rodney would have a dispassionate, unemotional response. Something really smells here. I hate to see innocent people hurt."
What are you suggesting? That I change who I am so I appear less like Rodney Babcock? That dispassionate and unemotional responses are evidence of evil intent? That throwing screaming flames and unfounded accusations at one another will lead to better debate and investment decisions? THAT I WILL JUST SIT HERE AND LET YOU POUND ON ME!?Get real.
You come out of the blue, having rarely posted anything substantive on this thread and not having been seen here since last December, but you expect people to just automatically accept you as JessiDani: Knight-In-Shining-Armor, Self-appointed Protector Of The Innocent, With Motives Pure As New-Fallen Snow. Do you really expect anybody reading your posts to just accept you and your opinions at face value? Why should anybody presume that you have some incredible crystal ball that knows exactly how the AB&G saga will turn out? You seem mighty damn sure of yourself with comments like,"This is a small cap stock that will never be listed. There will be no institutional support. The losses that some have experienced will never be recouped on this stock." But the best you have to offer is that last year, AB&G MAY have engaged in some questionable practices and, therefore, they are a bogus "pump & dump" scam and they always will be. If this is how you prepare and present a case in your law practice, I pity your clients.
I don't pretend to know, and have NEVER claimed to know, how the AB&G situation will turn out. Like most of us here, I have my opinions, of course, but it should be obvious that is all they are, opinions. But for every opinion I offer, I base my rationale on facts (as opposed to innuendo) and, whenever possible, provide documentation to support my position. You suggest to others that they go back and read the thread. I suggest you do the same. You will find a very large number of my posts contain links to sources of information about issues relative to AB&G's business. Some of this information is not particularly favorable to AB&G.
But let me tell you what really galls me. For all your "righteous" indignation and outrage at receiving an unsolicited stock recommendation, you have engaged in similar conduct! The following is the full text of your post #1356, dated 9/19/97:
"To all on BNGO: (OFF TOPIC) Those of you who invested when price below 3, I know that you have the guts to put your money where there is real potential. Check out KIDO and KIDOW. Company has technology process that provides customization of videos. For example, a child's picture sent to company will result in a Barney video with that child in it. Look at biz.yahoo.com biz.yahoo.com This one should be a $6 stock (from 1 3/4) in 6 months. Warrants are 5/8. I don't have time to start thread, but people here might be interested."
For all your arrogance about the wisdom of your opinions, KIDO hasn't been more than a tiny fraction above $2.00 since 11/97 and it has never come anywhere close to $6.00, reaching a peak of about $2.25 last November. It closed 5/21/98 at $1.875. You even had the cojones to claim that this stock would more than TRIPLE in six months!!! Unbelievable! Yes, I have a positive take on AB&G at the moment, but I have never made any statements like THAT! I guess, being an attorney, application of situational-ethics and double-standards has become such common practice for you that you don't even realize you are doing it. Maybe I should start claiming you are a "paid PR shill" for KIDO, hired to spew off-topic "garbage" on active threads.
You suggest to people, "...it would be better to investigate whether management engaged in fraudulant behavior last year regarding the stock price, warrents, so called imminent nasdaq listing, etc." than it is to hold on to their shares and see if AB&G can turn this situation around. But when I ask how you expect us to do this short of filing criminal charges, your reply is, "I don't have to investigate such conduct. If I think that it occurred, I stay away." That's fine for those of you who aren't sitting on significant paper losses. But what about those of us who are? You want us to sell and make these losses real just when AB&G appears to be making significant efforts to turn the situation around? Sorry, JD, I think I'll hold on to my shares for awhile, thank you.
In reviewing your recent posts, I find there are three themes: 1) Trash T.K. Allen's reputation; 2) Suggest AB&G was, and always will be, a scam company; and 3) Protect the "innocent" and suggest people invest in "real" stocks. You are so blasted sure I have a hidden agenda, these themes make me wonder what YOUR agenda is. Hmmmmm, let's see...............what might JD's motives be? Perhaps you want those considering BNGO to invest instead in one of your favorite stocks of the moment (MTIC and PTIS haven't exactly set the world on fire over the past couple of months). Maybe you are one of the BNGO short-sellers who drove the share price into the toilet last December and hope that trashing me and AB&G will scare people into selling and lead to another price decline. Or maaaaaaaaaybe........ you actually think BNGO is a great turnaround opportunity and hope some of us long-term holders will panic at your accusations and hand over a truckload of our shares to you cheap.
Sure, I hoped to generate a little more interest in AB&G with my Private Messages but at least I was candid and up-front about it. You would have us believe that you engaged in this character assassination (AFTER your original statement that you would only make ONE post "exposing" me as a "PR shill" involved in a "pump & dump" scheme in collusion with AB&G management) because you ...hate to see innocent people hurt". This heart-warming display of altruism comes from, of all people, one of New York City's lawyers, a group not exactly renowned for such virtues.
If you want to spend your time trashing me, flame away. As requested, I will no longer respond to your hypocritical and, quite possibly, self-serving comments. In fact, I may not even read them because you make my blood boil. Instead, I am going to take a break from this thread for awhile. This argument with you makes me sad, tired, and disgusted.
In my opinion, AB&G will sink or swim on the wisdom of the new management's upcoming decisions and the outcome of the Supreme Court case in South Carolina. The affect of my "PR" work and contributions to this thread on BNGO's share price are insignificant by comparison. I'm sure I will be back here at some point because I expect to hold my shares for awhile. But, in the meantime, I have a business to run. So long, JD. I wish I could say it has been a pleasure.
