No one here disparaged Viet Nam veterans. Again, you are making things up. In fact, I think our society owes a huge debt to anyone who risks their life to fight for America, and for the most part I believe the government treats veterans pretty shabbily. I believe that all the Viet Nam vets who live in the streets (250,00 to 300,000 people sleeping outside on any given night are veterans) deserve much more comprehensive treatment for their addictions, mental problems and physical injuries, and especially that not one of them should ever go homeless. I think it is a national disgrace that this is allowed to happen.
