yeah, ed, but at least then consumers would have the choice of 5 inferior OSes instead of one great OS and three or four so-so ones, like now. -GGG- Your point is right on, of course. The problem is that you're expecting the government to actually care about consumers. Your point, which is true, shows that of course the government doesn't care about consumers. The very fact that they brought up the name of consumers in the anti-trust suit shows how the govt will use whatever means necessary to bring about their little vendetta on behalf of MSFT competitors.
