Terrence, my real question about the Neanderthals went beyond the source of your information, to exactly what you mean by the "most social" of all men. What are the criteria for being most social? And I guess in remarking that Neanderthals may have bred with Cro-Magnon man (a scientific dispute at the moment that I am following avidly, since Neanderthals fascinate me), thereby creating ALTRUISTS, you are implying that it is European Caucasians who are causing all the altruism problems? I am not sure I have much Neanderthal blood!!
