Actually, I thought that might be the case, so I logged on, and I still get the ads. Now I do not use the homepage to login, but usually use the routes of checking someone's profile or responding to a post. When I log on this way, I still get the ads.

I also use bookmarks through the Navigator program and not the internal SI bookmarks. Is there a big difference there?

Can this be fixed? Or must I go through the trouble of going to the homepage every time?

Edit this - I tried using the bookmark that starts "talk.techstocks" rather than "www3.techstocks". No ads now. Is this the key??

I like the idea of ads for non-members
and no ads for members....

I hope it stays that way
