To my knowledge IBM has not produced any C6s and will start production at the C6+. Any 266 Mhz product is coming out of IDTI.

Frank,

Coincidentally, I read the Yahoo IDTI board for the first time just minutes ago and saw that exemployee's post. My guess is there's some truth to the post; otherwise, the C6+ would be a lot further along than it is. However, I doubt if things are as bad as he makes out. And a sale of the plant? Preposterous. Why would they sell the plant where high margin products are made? Unless they plan to sell the SRAM business and shift high margin production abroad. Also, if the plant is so poorly managed, why has Courtelyou, the VP in charge of Hillsboro, been a persistent buyer of stock?

The Yahoo board is for the yoohoo's -- best left unread.

Frank,

that would be great if you could use your contact ! From talking to IDT people and also from other sources I am not getting the impression of that fab being such a mess. But again my information is indirect and I might be wrong.
