Understand your point, but the question is what comes next. Would any positive post, later proved false, subject a poster to inquiry? Where does one draw the line?

For example, John Doe really likes XYZW...he heard on the ABC chat that XYZW is going to be bought out at $3.50 per share and it's trading at 22 cents. He states he has bought a position....

Now, if XYZW doesn't get bought up but runs up to $2.75, then stretching the guidelines would put John Doe at risk. Yes?

Since I don't equate the above with falsely yelling fire in a crowded theater, I think we start to skirt a 1st amendment issue. That is why disclaimers are implicit.
