Skipper, even if sport hunting is a remnant of subsistence hunting eons ago, we are rational beings in a way animals are not. I really do think that in children who are unattached and unbalanced, it is very difficult to sort all of this out, and I do think there is a correlation between killing animals for sport and a general devaluation of human life as well in this group. Couldn't we all just hunt sprouts for fun? They are quite small and difficult to see from long distances, after all!!!
